About
A GP first. An aesthetic doctor by training and temperament.
Dr Shona Biggart MRCGP combines NHS general practice with aesthetic medicine, bringing the same rigour, caution and honesty to both.
Background
Medicine first, aesthetics second
Dr Biggart is a practising NHS GP (MRCGP), working alongside her aesthetic practice in Tooting and Colliers Wood. That dual role isn't incidental — it's the foundation of how she treats.
General practice trains a particular kind of judgement: take a full history, rule out what shouldn't be treated, and be plain with people about risk and likely outcome. Dr Biggart applies that same approach to aesthetic medicine, which is why consultations focus as much on whether a treatment is appropriate as on what it can achieve.
She treats anti-wrinkle lines, adds dermal and lip filler, and uses skin boosters, Profhilo and polynucleotides to support skin quality — always starting from the smallest change that will make a genuine difference, and building from there only if it's wanted.
